Location Tracer app for iPhone and iPad

Location Tracer records your location periodically in the background. Location Tracer is designed to automatically trace your steps as you venture through unfamiliar terrain, likely with no cell phone reception.

You can revisit and even continue on from your old traces, and export them to a GPX file.

Location Tracer is designed to be used completely offline, and just requires GPS signal to work. Absolutely no account or personal information is needed to use Location Tracer.

Please keep in mind that Location Tracer is not a substitute for a dedicated GPS device. When venturing into unknown and/or remote terrain, please equip yourself with reliable GPS hardware. Your location history is not uploaded to a server, so you cannot use Location Tracer to let others see your live location.
